Who are we?

Established in 1978, the Western Trade Adjustment Assistance Center (Western TAAC)  supported by a Department of Commerce grant, assists U.S. manufacturers to improve their international competitiveness.

Mission:

To provide technical services through independent industry consultants in the broad areas such as marketing, management, engineering, and quality systems for  import impacted firms.

Eligibility:

Manufacturing or producing firms that have been import impacted as demonstrated by declining sales or production as well as a decline or anticipated decline in employment levels.
